Shazell Bush is a Senior Analyst with Kilpatrick Townsend’s LitSmart® E-Discovery Team. In that role, he works directly with e-discovery professionals including project managers, attorneys, and clients in all phases of the EDRM life cycle. His specific areas of expertise include database creation and maintenance, data manipulation, loading, processing, production, and quality control. Shazell has more than 18 years of experience in e-discovery in law firm and vendor settings, in both analyst and project manager positions. He is an expert in the industry-leading e-discovery platform used in-house by Kilpatrick Townsend, Relativity, having reached the level of Relativity Certified Administrator. In addition to Relativity, Shazell has a wide range of experience with a variety of legal software platforms including LAW PreDiscovery, Concordance, iPro, Viewpoint, Summation, Westlaw Case Notebook. In addition, he is well-versed in SQL Query and database manipulation.
Prior to joining the firm, Shazell worked as an e-discovery Project Manager where he consulted on best practices and workflow methodologies, performed quality control throughout the data lifecycle, and assisted case teams with document review management. Previously, Shazell was a Senior Analyst with an international New York-based law firm where he was responsible for designing and maintaining databases, developing standard operating procedures to increase efficiencies, and managing software upgrades.
