Tomeka Hester




Tomeka Hester is an E-Discovery Paralegal with Kilpatrick Townsend’s LitSmart® E-Discovery Team. In this role, she assists with the management of document reviews, ensuring accurate and thorough reviews for privilege, confidentiality, and responsiveness are conducted. Tomeka also works with the Team’s Project Managers and attorneys with general case management to ensure that production specifications and deadlines are met. Additionally, she assists the firm’s attorneys and clients with a variety of e-discovery-related tasks, including discovery-related pleadings, deposition preparation, subpoena responses, and preservation compliance. Tomeka also provides guidance and training to case teams on all phases of the EDRM and develops protocols and best practices to ensure e-discovery is conducted in a consistent and defensible manner. Tomeka has experience with numerous e-discovery documents management systems including Relativity and Summation.

Prior to joining Kilpatrick Townsend, Tomeka worked at a full-service law firm based in Savannah, Georgia where she was a litigation paralegal. She also worked as a litigation paralegal in the Securities and Consumer Fraud, Anti-Trust, and Victim/Witness Assistance Divisions of the North Carolina Department of Justice in Raleigh, North Carolina where Tomeka provided litigation support for the Assistant Attorney General/Director of Victim/Witness Assistance as well as two Assistant Attorney Generals in the Consumer Protection Division. Her experience as a paralegal spans over 20 years, mostly in litigation support. Tomeka has drafted numerous pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, affidavits, discovery requests, and responses and has conducted client and witness interviews.
