About

Kate Sonney is an E-Discovery Paralegal with Kilpatrick Townsend’s LitSmart® E-Discovery Team. In this role, she assists the firm’s attorneys and clients with a variety of e-discovery-related tasks, including discovery-related pleadings, deposition preparation, subpoena responses, and preservation compliance. Kate also works with the Team’s Project Managers and attorneys with general case management to ensure that production specifications and deadlines are met. She has experience in Relativity, the industry-leading e-discovery platform used in-house by Kilpatrick Townsend.

Prior to joining Kilpatrick Townsend, Kate was a Paralegal at criminal defense and civil litigation law firm based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where she drafted numerous pleadings, court filings, and motions, filed and obtained court records, performed research, and prepared memoranda.
